Hi, I’m Owen Warren.

I’m an 8th grade teacher with Omaha Public Schools. I’ve been teaching for 5 years as of 2008, and I still love it.

I asked a friend of mine to create this website for me because:

  • My technological skills aren’t anywhere close to his
  • I have a story to tell

Recently, I found myself a victim of credit identity theft. My experience with credit identity theft happened at exactly the wrong time and cost myself and my family a lot of time and put us through a lot of trouble.

Because someone out there wanted to get something for nothing, my family was victimized. Things were so bad at one point that I caught my wife crying from the frustration of it all.

But all bad things come to an end at some point and we eventually did come through our experience stronger as a family and a lot wiser about credit identity theft.

Despite the positive outcome, Sarah and I really would have rather skipped the whole experience altogether. Looking back, we agree that we should have signed up for Lifelock earlier in our relationship and before we got to the point where a bad experience with credit identity theft would cause such problems for us.
